2025 CSUDH Student Research Conference (SRC)

SRC is an event honoring our students and faculty mentors in their pursuit of outstanding research, scholarship and creative activity. SRC also supports the goals of our University by continuing to encourage student involvement in research and scholarly activity as an essential part of their learning experience. SRC is organized as a professional conference and celebrates a wide array of research disciplines in which our students and faculty are involved.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)

SACNAS is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.

Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)
The 2023 Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) will be hosted in-person by California State University, Fullerton on Saturday, November 18th and the Office of Undergraduate Research is offering conference awards that will cover the registration fee, transportation, and poster printing for CSUDH student attendees/presenter (until funds are exhausted) To apply for funding, complete the OUR SCCUR Award Application Form by or before Friday, October 20th (no exceptions). The sooner the better as funds are limited!
About SCCUR:
SCCUR provides a forum for the presentation of the best research, scholarship, and creative activities of undergraduate students in the region, and encourages communication of innovative achievements across disciplines. The conference is broadly multi-disciplinary, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and applied sciences. Students present their scholarly work either in 15-minute seminar presentations chaired by faculty moderators, in poster sessions, or in exhibitions or performances.
Conference Abstract Submission:
Undergraduate students who wish to present their faculty-mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities at SCCUR must complete the on-line abstract submission form. Abstracts are reviewed by faculty from appropriate disciplines and accepted, returned for revision, or declined. Students, before submitting your abstract for SCCUR 2023, it is important to consult with your faculty mentor. All accepted abstracts will be published on the conference program and website.

Conference Registration:
The OUR will pay the student awardee's registration fees ($85) in advance. However, before committing, students must be sure they are able to attend as the registration fee is nonrefundable.
Transportation:
A shuttle bus will be provided to transport students to and from CSUF. The shuttle bus will depart from CSUDH at 8:00 AM and return to CSUDH by 5:30 PM. Students are also welcome to drive at their own expense.

Poster Printing:
The OUR will provide free poster printing for all CSUDH presenters funded under this award. Poster files (PPT and PDF) must be submitted to our@xingtaiyichuang.com by or before Monday, November 13, 2023. The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)

NCUR is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all disciplines. Through this annual conference, NCUR creates a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and helps to improve the state of undergraduate education.

The Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)
ABRCMS is one of the largest communities of underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students attend this conference to present their research, enhance professional development skills, explore graduate schools, and network.
